Build failed: error: create directory File exists

I have an application in the app store and you have created and released several updates without any problems. I am working on a major update, but I have a significant mistake that I have been working at Google for more than a week.

I can create an application for the simulator, but when I try to create for an iOS device (for example, with my iPhone 6 connected) or Archive (so that I can spread via TestFlight), I get the same error every time, The full error posted below.

Things I tried:

  • Project Cleanup
  • Restart xcode
  • Rebooting My Mac - Removing the Derived Data folder li>
  • Xcode update
  • Uninstall and reinstall xCode

Valid error received:

I really need to update this update, but can't seem to build it. Can someone tell me if there could be some main reason that I don't see regarding the derived data folder?

I solved this problem by removing the duplicate package from my project, which I added from another source. Look for a duplicate copy of en.lproj and delete it, this may solve ur problem.

My problem arose due to a merge conflict. I used the same dynamic structure twice in Embedded Binaries. Removing the duplicated structure allowed me to work successfully.

This path exists as a file (while the assembly is trying to create a directory): / Users / terrencewilliams / Library / Developer / Xcode / DerivedData / SMBox-gbfftxbyzlmadeazsrisoquokaxr / Build / Intermediates / ArchiveIntermediates / SMBox / InstallationBuildProductsLocation / Applications / SMBoxjapp / en

I suggest you just remove / Users / terrencewilliams / Library / Developer / Xcode / DerivedData and rebuild.

Yes, I understand, you said you already deleted the DerivedData folder. Did you really delete this? If so, what does en.lproj create? You may need to just search the build log.
