The cabinet ( https://bitbucket.org/qbusict/cupboard ) is a very convenient library, but, unfortunately, it does not support display lists in the database, and the lists must be processed manually. But what is the way to deal with them?
You can let the cabinet serialize for you using FieldConverter . I recently released a cupboard-tools project that contains a FieldConverter that uses Gson to serialize and deserialize lists or other objects.

Serializing lists in json and storing them as strings seems to be the best solution.
