Segmentation Error: 11 when checking SVN

I wanted to get a project from code.google.com. I searched google and found that svn comes with Mac OS. We just need to enter the command into the terminal. Here is the project.

$ svn checkout http://piccolo2d.googlecode.com/svn/piccolo2d.java/trunk piccolo2d.java

When I got tired of the team, I got the following problem. "Segmentation Error: 11"

I am using OSX Yosemite.

thanks for the help

I had the same problem, getting rid of SVN 1.6.5 fixed it for me.

  • I found out which version of SVN I used when using svn help turned out to be 1.6.5
  • I removed SVN as described here - How to remove subversion in OS X. (I went to / usr / local / bin and deleted all files starting with svn)
  • Everything is working now. I am now on SVN version 1.7.17. (I did not install anything, I suspect that this is due to the fact that I already installed Xcode.)

You have a home brew , after which I found a simple solution ...

  • brew install svn
  • Add error link: brew link --overwrite subversion
  • brew update svn
