ISEXP: warning: -6248: Could not find the dependent libc.dll file or one of its component dependencies

There are many variations of this question, but my question is specific to libc.dll . I'm not interested in resolving addiction. I want to work to avoid this warning.

I have 30 projects in my Forms application. When I publish the installation using InstallshieldLE, I get ISEXP : warning : -6248: Could not find dependent file libc.dll, or one of its dependencies of component Sample.CommonModules.ChangeUnit_.Primary_output

warning for each primary exit.

Because of this warning, posting takes longer and kills my time. Is there a way around this warning in InstallshieldLE?

I just want to get rid of this warning. I am not opposed to creating the mock libc.dll file and placing it somewhere to allow InstallShieldLE to assume that it has this file.

Choose the type of files -> Right-click the project Primary Output -> Select Dependencies from Scan to Build -> uncheck libc.dll.

For me, I went to InstallShield | Customization | Specify application data | Files

Inside files | Target Computer Folders | Highlight the installation folder.

Then, in the destination computer files, right-click on the main output. (In your case, it will be the ChangeUnit_.Primary file) and select "Scanning dependencies during assembly" and uncheck the "libc.dll" box. - click OK.

All is well (for me, all the same)
