Wget from adb shell

I try to run the wget command from the adb shell, but it gives me wget: a bad address every time. And if I run wget from a regular terminal, this will work. This way there is no network connectivity problem as I can use ping severs. I even tried the wget IP address but not used. Share your answers

It seems your copy of busybox not fully compatible with Android. Most likely, it is simply statically linked to GNU libc instead of bionic (an alternative to Android). Most functions work fine, but some things, such as DNS resolution, do not. To resolve host names, you need to get the appropriate version of Android busybox for wget .
