How to install sans-serif fonts in Firefox without losing special characters

I don't like serif fonts. Therefore, for many years, I simply went to "Settings in Firefox" than "Content"> "Font and colors"> "Advanced", and set the Arial font to Serif. In addition, I had to uncheck "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, not my choice above." He had the side advantage that the smallest letters were determined by me, and not by the designer from Lilliput.

It is assumed that Firefox will select optically similar fonts for glyphs that are not in the preferred font. However, all of the missing glyphs in your image are taken from private use (E800), which means they use web fonts to provide characters not defined in Unicode. The only font that has them is the font provided by the website.

If it weren’t a special font, I would say to set Arial Unicode MS as the sans-serif default font to get all the missing glyphs.
