Failed to create apache mod_tile in openSuse error: could not find apxs on path

I want to start a tile server with OSM data

I want to set mod_tile, so I configured mod_tile

But when I do

./Configure

It says

checking for getloadavg... yes checking for apxs... no checking for apxs2... no checking for /opt/local/apache2/bin/apxs... no configure: error: Could not find apxs on the path.

any idea what went wrong?

According to the internet you need to install apache2-devel . Then the apx binary should be located in / usr / bin / apxs 2 or / usr / sbin / apxs2.

Note. To build a tile server, you must follow the switch2osm manual .

sudo apt-get install apache2-devel

For RedHat and CentOs

yum install httpd-devel
