Xcode 6 iPair Air cannot launch the application on the device (OS version)

I have a valid Provisioning profile, an iPad Air ID has been added for the developer account, etc.

xcode cannot determine the OS version on the new iPad Air on the new Macbook pro, I did everything updated on the latest OS.

I get this error: Mike iPad may have an iOS version that is not supported by this version of Xcode.

Mike's iPad may be running a version of iOS that is not supported by this version of Xcode.

I ran Xcode 6, the new iPad needed Xcode 6.1, but Apple Auto-update did not download the Update. You need to manually go to the App Store and search for Xcode.

Download Xcode 6.1

On iOS 8.1, you can create (directly on the device, not ad-hoc) starting with Xcode 6.1. I'm not sure why the apple made it, but this is the answer.
