"Visual Page Editor has experimental support for Windows 64-bit."

Question

I use Eclipse Luna and JBoss AS 7. When I create a JSP page in Eclipse, I get the following error:

I changed my server to Tomcat 7, but still getting the same error.

How is this caused and how can I solve it?

This visual page editor is part of the JBoss Tools plugin that you installed to be able to integrate and use the JBoss AS server in Eclipse .

You do not need it. These are not only experimental, but overall visual page editors simply do not work when you want to get high-quality code. Just click the red cross in the lower right, and then go to the Source tab and finally close the Palette tab. This is, fortunately, a one-time thing. When you create new JSP pages, it will stay away.

This is just the worst part of the particularly excellent JBoss Tools plugin.

If you want to use a visual editor, I would recommend the XULRunner JBoss tool.
