Visual Studio 2013 opens new files randomly depending on the type of project and file - how to fix this behavior

I have Visual Studio 2013 Professional Update 3 with ReSharper 8.2.3 and PowerTools installed.

My problem is that no matter what I set from the Tools menu โ†’ Options โ†’ Environment โ†’ Windows โ†’ Insert New Tabs to the right of existing tabs, whenever I open new ones files, they are randomly located on depending on the file extension and the project from which they come.

How can I make it always open new files in the final right position?

After some riots finally made him work. The problem is with the power tool settings that overwrite visual studios.

So, if you turn off document sorting, it works as expected.

Tools โ†’ Options โ†’ Performance Power Tools โ†’ Custom Document OK โ†’ General โ†’ Sort Tab (I will turn off both the checkboxes โ†’ โ€œBy Projectโ€ and โ€œAlphabeticallyโ€)
