You need to enable the option "Use the main GPU".

On my Mac, I already enabled Use Host GPU, and it did not help me. I used CPU / ABI: Intel Atom (x86_64) and then changed it to Intel Atom (x86) and then started.

Requires Android SDK r21 platform platforms or higher.

Requires Android SDK Tools 23.0.5 or later.

I have Intel HAXM and works fine on Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit (Core i3-2100 3.1 GHZ, 4 GB RAM).

About launching the Intel x86 Android Emulator for API 21 with Host GPU enabled,

I started it on my first attempt using the JDK 64-bit .

I can’t start it even if I wait all day using the JDK 32 bit .

Hope this helps.
