Reserved Outbound IP Addresses for Azure Sites

We are currently creating websites in Azure and are wondering if there is a way to create reserved static outbound IP addresses for these sites. I do not create or download websites through virtual machines or cloud services, directly through the Azure websites option on the Azure portal. I read that by default a virtual ip is provided for the region for your subscription, but we do not want to whitelist this IP address. Can someone help me point me in the right direction? Thanks.

This is currently not possible with Microsoft Azure.

The outgoing IP address will be one of the IP addresses in the data center. A list of IP addresses in the data center can be found here .

The good news is that Microsoft plans to make this feature available soon.

Now its possible !!! you can use application service environment (ASE)

The application service supports dedicated outgoing IP addresses for applications deployed using the application environment (ASE) feature.

For the foreseeable future, applications running in a public service with multiple tenants will continue to use outgoing addresses from a shared address pool.

from Outgoing IP Allocation

ASE is very expensive :)
