Where are .XXX logged from the console logged when using nodejs with opsworks?

I am new to AWS Opsworks . I successfully deployed an application that had previously been deployed through an elastic bean stock. The application works, but I can’t find the file where its console.log outputs are saved. I have grepped all files with .log extensions, but I can not find the result.

Thanks.

I think they just go to stdout , this is what the dc650 says .

aws-opswork may be different.

According to node.js docs stack :

For more information on how to create log files, see How to log in to node.js.

I suppose that besides this you could override the default recipe , and since monit starts the node process, as seen in opsworks-nodejs / templates / default / node_web_app.monitrc.erb , change this to redirect STDOUT to the file .. .
