Xcode 6 search bar shade transparent color turns black?

Question

I am using Xcode 6 GM. Adding a search bar with default settings such as

Then I changed the hue of the stroke to “Clear color” in the attribute inspector, then it will become

Back to Xcode 5.1. The same color change in the hue of the stroke looks more intuitive, since transparent color means viewing.

Is this some kind of bug or the expected changes to the new Xcode?

Please try changing the UISearchbar property Search Style from default to minimum.
