Frame video on a device with Android Studio Screen Record

In Android Studio, we can capture and record the screen on our devices. When capturing the screen, we have the opportunity to directly create our screenshot in the device or use the online tool http://developer.android.com/distribute/tools/promote/device-art.html

When the recording screen is not possible to create it in the style of the device , and Google does not seem to provide any online option.

What will be the fastest and easiest way for developers who want to demonstrate their recording on the screen in a frame from the art of the device, where a new video is created, where the art of the device is wrapped around our recording on the screen.

Give your best advice. I would really like a quick free online service that solves this and guesses that there is one.

I spent a considerable amount of time researching, but also could not find a service for him.

However, I wrote a guide on recording a screen, adding a device frame, and converting to gif, which you can find here: http://appdictive.dk/blog/how-to/2015/04/20/google_plus_gif/

Short version:

  • Recording screen
  • Get device frame image
  • Use Photoshop or other video editing software to add a frame as a static image to the video (briefly shows how to do this in Photoshop).

We hope this helps others find a solution to this.

There are very few services on the Internet that let you simply upload videos to device frames, especially free platforms. However, if you have video editing software such as Adobe After Effects, you can import images and videos and create them yourself; although value added and time are against an earlier option.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, I managed to use the Google Art Art Generator page to retrieve the device bezels that they offer quite easily. All you have to do is create a solid background color in Adobe Photoshop (as an example), say bright green, and then load it into the generator. Download the image generated using the deviceโ€™s art with a rich fill color, then use the Magic Wand tool in Photoshop and just remove the solid color. With that in mind, the next step is to simply insert the video using After Effects into the transparent space that is now available. This is even a bit overkill, since you only need to overlay the video image in the screen size of the created screenshot from Google, but it gives you an idea of โ€‹โ€‹how you could achieve what you want.
