My college has a proxy server, I have already changed the system proxy settings and the eclipse proxy settings in the window-> Settings-> General-> Network Connections. Everything else on Ubuntu works just fine, except for that. The Internet also works in Eclipse.

Screenshot of eclipse network settings -

When I try to use my mobile Internet connection (without a proxy server), it sometimes works and shows the same error.

I am trying to solve this problem by doing a lot of Google searches and trying a lot, but I just can't go on. I would really appreciate any help I can get from this community of professionals.

thanks

The API explorer is located outside your proxy, exactly at https://apis-explorer.appspot.com/apis-explorer/ , and when you study the APIs available from your development server, you go to this address. You can check it by placing this address in your browser (in your local hosting, adding / _ah / api / explorer) and seeing where it redirects.

Despite the fact that you have configured your proxy server for outgoing connections from your computer to the rest of the Internet, you cannot configure your proxy server (if you are not working in the IT department of your college) to allow connections coming from apis -explorer. appspot.com will be redirected to your computer.

Therefore, if you can’t access the Internet directly, bypassing the proxy server or using another network (for example, using a smartphone), this will not work for you.

I had the same problem before. After cleaning the project ( Project -> Clean ) everything works fine .
