Virtual Testing Environment for Drones

Does anyone know of a robot development environment that is ideal for testing AI programs for unmanned aerial vehicles (e.g. ATVs, planes, helicopters, etc.)? I would like something like Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio, which includes a virtual environment (like an external environment with gravity, wind, etc.) to check the dynamics of flight. I would like the options to add sensors to the virtual drone, such as gps, altimeter, gyroscopes, etc., which the AI โ€‹โ€‹program could then use to control the drone.

I'm not sure if this is useful, but I recently watched Defcon 20 talk, and during the demonstration the guy used a modified flight simulator, maybe you could do something like this? about 42 minutes in DEFCON 20: Hacker + Airplanes = No Good Can Come Of This

I believe that a carefully configured simulation based on Nvidia PhysX can be a big problem for unmanned AI. Although this is a general-purpose physics engine, it does not stop you from creating an excellent flight model. And this allows you to create an accurate and detailed virtual environment (based on a variety of types of colliders), which is actually a problem.

You can watch Gazebo . The robotic simulator is fully integrated with ROS and some physical engines. It processes sensors, rendering graphics, and has built-in robot models.

You can also see this , UAV ROS model.

I donโ€™t know if this is really what you are looking for, but so far only a few programs for testing unmanned aerial vehicles are available, it Real Flight simulates 15 different popular amateurs and professional drums from Heli-Max to Hubsan X4 Pro, whether its an ATV or hexacopter, it can help
