ABAddressBookGetAuthorizationStatus in the simulator always returns kABAuthorizationStatusAuthorized

I am updating the application for authorization of the address book iOS 6 and got into a problem when testing. The simulator always returns permission. This means that I don’t see a popup asking for permission and therefore I can’t check this code path. Ok, use the device instead ... The problem is that the OS seems to remember my answer, so it only asks once. Removing the application does not help. When reinstalling, he saved the resolution setting earlier, so again there is no pop-up window.

Resetting the simulator does not help, and if you go to the privacy settings on the simulator, no application will be indicated as requesting permission to the address book.

The only option I have is to use another iOS device on which our application has never been installed for each test. It may not be how you should check it. Any ideas anybody?

Found. On the device, Settings-> General β†’ Reset β†’ Reset Location and Privacy. Therefore, you must do this for each test.
