Change Jenkins default view

I tried to follow the instructions on how to change the default view in Jenkins here .

I created another view that I would like by default, but when I look for the Default View option in Manage Jenkins -> Configure System , it doesn't seem to exist. Is there something I have to do to make it appear? Or is it hidden elsewhere?

If someone works, they can indicate where they are on the configuration screen (immediately before / after something else) so that I can double-check.

I am using Jenkins 1.447

from comment> When I go to Manage Jenkins -> Configure System and Default View , all of our "public" views are listed there in the drop-down list.

Make sure that the view you created is not just in β€œMy Views” for your user and is open to everyone.

Jenkins Management> Configure System>

The default viewing parameter is immediately after "counting retries for SCM verification" and before "enable security"

See below:

You do not need to change anything for it to appear. You may need more than one species, but it looks like you have already created another ...

You can only select default views with multiple views. So, first create a new view by clicking the β€œ+” sign in the Jenkins toolbar:

Of course, a β€œ+” will only appear if you have permission to create new views.

Now go to Jenkins Management> Configure System. The default view option will appear. With this, you can select the default view.

The above applies to Jenkins 1.536.
