Good master data guide?

Does anyone know of a good detailed Core Data tutorial that focuses only on code usage (i.e. no IB involvement)?

I read the CD tutorial in the Xcode docs and looked through a few podcasts, but nothing came from scratch.

Any help is appreciated.

The book of the pragmatic programmer on the basic data of Marcus Zarra is pretty good. Also check out Apple's CoreDataBooks sample code.

This book is the best thing I know about, unfortunately. If you find something better, post it. (Apple is generally not so good when it comes to training-like materials.)

Try Pro Core Data for iOS from Michael Private and Rob Warner. A good book and don't forget to download the sample code.

If you are looking for a quick start without exploring too many details, I would try this: http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/DataManagement/Conceptual/CoreDataSnippets/Introduction/Introduction.html and when you create your project, select "Use master data for storage." He has enough information to get off the ground.

If participating in IB does not mean that you want to programmatically create a model of managed objects ... the information is there, but you will need much more time to decrypt it. Start with google-ing for "Link to NSManagedObjectModel Class", then from there.
