Resources for Natural Language Teaching Programs

Which APIs and datasets are available for use in natural language learning programs, for example. help learn to read / write / listen / speak the 2nd language? This can be a web interface or a traditional API for dictionaries, translation services, word / concept associations for images, sounds, for example. colloquial words or phrases, films or flash card sets. Also interesting are the websites that could be seen to get local data sets for offline use.

In the beginning, I note that the Google translate API can be accessed through programmatically .

There is an online Swedish course with audio files. There are online texts and MP3 files for many languages, including Swedish, from the Foreign Service Institute .

I am especially interested in resources for Swedish, but feel free to add resources for other languages. Please mark any answers in the appropriate language or languages.

I think the spider sites that provide language learning content are against ToU against most of them.

If you are interested in trying to analyze the pronunciation and evaluate its correctness, this API may be worth the links. However, I have no personal experience, because the algorithms for this are really in their infancy and do not give much value to the average consumer at the moment.
