Is there a shortcut for the Firefox keyboard to clear the cache?

Using the toolbar of the Firefox web developer, I can select "Miscellaneous β†’ Clear personal data and rarr; Cache". Is there a way to do the same with a keyboard shortcut?

Edit: I also use vimperator to control Firefox using the keyboard; just found out that this is possible using :emenu Extra.Web Developer.Miscellaneous.Clear Private Data.Cache .

I think that Ctrl + Shift + Delete retrieves all personal data, including the cache. Here is a link that will tell you how to configure certain options.

You can also reload and clear the cache for a specific page with

Cmd + Shift + R

on mac or

Ctrl + F5

by windows / linux machine.

(these are additions to the simple Cmd + R / F5 reboot shortcuts)

I am using a web developer add-in to completely disable my cache on my development machine. This way, you don’t have to worry about clearing the cache.

I think

Ctrl + Shift + Delete

not what you want?

What am I doing, go to

Tools > Options > Privacy > Show Cookies

then just open the Show Cookie window.

It remains minimal on your web page, so you just need to click

 Maximize > Remove All cookies
