Application Icon 83.5x83.5@2x required for iPad apps targeting iOS 9.0 and later

Just saw this warning after upgrading to Xcode 7.2. Why does this warning appear suddenly with 7.2 / 9.2? I guess this is for iPad Pro support? Does this only mean 167x167, since it is 2x?

Xcode Warning

EDIT: I see that (now in Xcode 7.2) there is a place for this (iPad Pro) icon in the asset catalog in the “Icons” / “Applications” and “Launch Images” sections

EDIT: Is it possible to disable this warning? For example, if there is no intention to configure iPad Pro?

This is for iPad Pro. The image should be 167x167 pixels. It will display on both 9.7 "and 12.9" iPad Pros with 264 pixels per inch.
