Browse folders in MSYS

Question

This will be the most difficult question of the day. How to navigate my Windows folder structure in MSYS shell? When I run the shell, all I see is "~". I type 'ls' and the folder is empty. I just want to know how to get to my c drive.

cd /c/ to access C:

cd /d/ for D:

and etc.

Your C: drive C: automatically installed on /c automatically using MinGW, just type cd /c to enter.

use df to see all the mount points so you can go to them. My df output is shown below:
