Migrating from C ++ to QT may seem a little awkward at first. But don't be afraid of it a little easier than C ++ when you learn about it.

To get started, I would like to recommend the first few voidRealms youvideos in C ++ QT to understand the structure of QT. All of them are really good. Try to make examples on your own. After watching these videos, you will be quite happy with the card.

Further, if possible, try to specify the Qt Development Fundamentals (Expert Voice in Open Source) , which is also a very good reference for QT. After going through several chapters, you will be very used to the Framework.

Reading the C ++ GUI Programming with Qt 4, which is usually recommended, will look good if you have this basic background in QT.

I would also recommend an online reference documentation that will go a lot deeper into QT as you continue.

As a recent Qt beginner, as well as a Nawaz link (where you should find all the information about all the Qt differnt classes), I found the following useful links:

qt 4.3 tutorial

C ++ GUI Programming with a Qt 4 book (if you look, you can find this book for free to read on several sites)

Along with this, depending on your OS, you should download Qt Creator, a great tool to start learning how Qt works and how different classes interact.

On Ubuntu, the QT creator is available, and it contains many examples - although I don't know about Windows. I learned about QT with the creator of QT.
