Ankhsvn is not integrated in Visual Studio 2010

I have a website project that has already been rigged. I installed ankhsvn, but when I open a website project in Visual Studio 2010, it does not display version control icons in Solution Explorer. Any idea why this could be?

thank

Did you enable AnkhSVN in the Tools-> Options-> Source Control menu?

When it is the default SCC provider, it should automatically detect that your web project (C #?) Is already in Subversion.

If you are using express versions of Visual Studio 2008/2010/2012, please note that AnkhSVN does not work with Express versions. In my case (VS 2012), the solution above does not work, because AnkhSVN is not available in Tools -> Options -> Initial Control -> Select Plugin. Express versions do not allow Addin.

This is an old question, but after installing Ankh I had to run

"d: \ Program Files (x86) \ Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0 \ Common7 \ IDE \ devenv.exe" / setup

to get Ankh to be displayed in the source plugin selection list. This seems to happen periodically with new plugins.

I had a similar problem and fixed it when I uninstalled and reinstalled AnkhSVN. Performing repairs was not enough.

I had the same problem. The only solution for me was to remove the registry keys described in the Visual Studio 2012 extension issues .
