How to disable automatic replacement in Emacs Speaks Statistics for R

Question

In Emacs Speaks Statistics for R , how can I turn off the automatic replacement of _ with <- ?

What rcs said. But pressing _ will turn "<-" into "_" again when you need it. So, when you need an underscore, just double-click it.

To stop this smart behavior, add (ess-toggle-underscore nil) to your .emacs after the ess-site been loaded.
