Localstorage limit on iPhone?

I am wondering what is the localstorage limit of HTML 5 on iPhone? I read that it was like 5 MB, but I am surprised, so few. Any ideas?

"The current default value for iPhone is 5.0 MB. If your database exceeds this limit, the user will automatically be asked to allow or deny the increase in size. If it allows to increase, the database size limit will be increased to 10.MB"

Mobile Safari on iPhone and iPad will take up 5 MB before QUOTA_EXCEEDED_ERR when using localStorage. If you use HTML5 SQL, the user will be prompted to increase the storage limit at intervals of 5 MB.

Desktop Safari v4 has no local storage restrictions. However, Safari v5 limits the site to 5 MB before QUOTA_EXCEEDED_ERR , showing the same behavior as the mobile version.
