How to make unindent in vim without leaving edit mode?

I have been writing a lot of python code lately and I have used tab-to-space mode in vim. I just wondered how I would be without changes in vim without leaving the editing mode, for example, after I finished if ...: block. Usually I can simply type <<not required, but it takes too many keystorkes, who has a better idea?

Set Ctrl - D on the keyboard, at the same time removes one tabbud, works for notes replaced by a space.

In Vim on Linux, you can undo multiple lines using V to select the first line. Click the down arrow to select multiple lines. Then enter < to delete all lines.

If you want to backtrack, enter > instead

Backspace will remove one level of indentation at a time.
