Interval between Studio Studio

How to change spacing in Android Studio to use tabs instead of spaces? I tried Preference → Editor , but I do not see the options there. I am using Android Studio for Mac

Enter a space in the search bar in the settings window.

You will find Editor Code Style Java Tabs and Indents Use tab character .

This is a little strange, but others may have the same problem as me.

Yes, follow the instructions above and make the usual changes to the configuration file. And guess what? it looks like it still creates spaces instead of tabs, even if TABS is specified in the settings, not spaces!

Turn on "show whitespaces" (Editor → General → Appearance). And then turn it off. It seems that this is enough for the reset editor to now follow the rules set in the settings.
