How do I log in to AWS with an IAM user account?

I created an IAM user account. Now I want to connect with this user to the AWS console.

AWS says:

For users who need access to the AWS Management Console, create a password in the Users panel after completing the wizard.

I created one password for the IAM user.

Attempting to log in to the AWS console using a new username and password does not work.

What do I need to do?

If you do not have AWS alias configured, you should use

https://Your_AWS_Account_ID.signin.aws.amazon.com/console/

if the alias is configured, then

https://Your_Alias.signin.aws.amazon.com/console/

The AWS IAM login URL seems to be pretty hard to remember. I created this site to go to the corresponding IAM console login page, just remembering the nickname or account number.

Found it!

You must log in using the login URL, which is available on the IAM toolbar, or create a personal login URL, as described here:

I had to add @ {your account #} to log in using IAM, for example:

https: //Your_Alias@Account.signin.aws.amazon.com/console/

The best way to get a forgotten account id or alias (passkey) by logging in as root. If you forget or lose your passwords or passwords, you cannot get them from IAM.

Log in to your account using the root user option, by default your browser will select your username in the root user section REMOVE it and enter your EMAIL used to create the AWS account. This will help you log in to your AWS account. After signing up, just click the support option in the upper right corner. Here is a link to the image as a reference. Here, in the top panel, you can get your ACCOUNT NUMBER (use ctrl + f and look for the account number in your browser if you cannot find it), save your account number for future use. Always use this method to log in to AWS using ACCOUNT ID / ALIAS and secure the root user. For more help, feel free to contact Royal Man Technologies
