Save the signature image in a file on Rhodes on Android

I am trying to implement signature capture using Rhodes to target Android tab. I managed to get the canvas and pounce on it. But I can’t save the signature in the right place. signature_uri accepts the default location as db/db-files/Image-XXXXXX.png .

This was an example of an example:

Have you checked this page: http://docs.rhomobile.com/rhodes/device-caps#file-system-access ? It seems to me that you need to save the image in the database and use the Rho :: RhoApplication :: get_blob_path (image.image_uri) method to open the file. You can then use the file system API to create a new file and write the contents of the image to where you select.

Just try passing the location of the SD card to uri signature. Please note to give read permission to the SD card entry in the manifest.

Else

Copy the signature file to the desired location from the internal package, but this duplication of work.
