How can I get Tomcat JSESSIONID on client side?

I want to get JSESSIONID Tomcat on the client side. Is it possible? If so, how?

It depends on how the JSESSIONID is passed:

• if it's like a session cookie, see how to get javascript cookies
• if it is in the url you can parse document.location

However, I do not see a big reason for this.

You need to send an ajax call to your server code, such as Spring controller or Servlets , and get the response string as JSESSIONID and then save it in javascript , only after the DOM is fully loaded.
