XML string translation for Android

I have several clients who volunteered to translate application strings into their native languages. Of course, they will not use the Eclipse Android environment for this, so which Windows-based tool / editor would be suitable for use with the XML files that I send them?

I use the Notepad ++ editor to control xmls, this is a very simple use of this application.

I have been following your strategy for a long time. Whenever a volunteer wanted to translate an application, he received an XML file containing all the lines, translated it, and sent it back.

But people who are not very familiar with computers tend to fail in this task: I often received the XML files back as Microsoft Word documents (.doc) or they translated the XML keys (which later become line identifiers) as well.

Therefore, I recommend that you use a convenient tool for joint translation, for example, Transifex , crowdin, or Get localization .

You can even use the small website that I created mainly for myself, which offers Android translation if you do not want to pay for these services. It is not beautiful, but it should do everything that you need.
