Capture iPhone screen from my application and record video

I'm just interested in creating an application that records video on an iphone screen or captures iphone screen images. I know that Apple does not allow such applications in the application store, and I am not going to do it. I can upload my application to Cydia if I want, but my current task is to simply develop an application with the ability to capture iphone scree n video or take a screen from the device.

Let's say that I play a game and I want to record it to show my friend how well I can play. If the game itself has the ability to record video (which is usually not available), that would be great. I want to develop such a function.

I am interested to know how to do this in jailbreak devices. Similar to Cydia's recorder display application.

EDIT:

I want to capture a screen with a delay of 5 seconds. I will minimize my application and enter the game, then a screenshot will be taken. No matter which application is running, you just need to take a screenshot of the iDevice.

hi, you can use screenShot with this code.

UIGraphicsBeginImageContext(self.view.window.frame.size); [BackView.layer renderInContext:UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext()]; UIImage *viewImage = UIGraphicsGetImageFromCurrentImageContext(); UIGraphicsEndImageContext(); UIImageWriteToSavedPhotosAlbum(viewImage, nil, nil, nil);

I did for my client who wanted. I also recorded a video for the screenCast screen to view the application.

Anything you need:

IOS device running iOS 8 or later Mac Mac OS X Yosemite or later Lightning rod (cable that comes with iOS devices)

No need for jailbreak, third-party application or additional equipment.

Here are the steps for doing this:

  • Connect iPhone or iPad to your Mac with a thunder cable
  • Open QuickTime Player
  • Click File, then select New Video Recording.
  • A recording window will appear (most likely with you). Click the small drop-down arrow in front of the record button, then select your iPhone or iPad.
  • Click the "Record" button. Now complete the tasks on your iOS device that you want to record. AND SAVE.

Here is the link for other ways:

@Kapil. You can use privates apis for this. But, obviously, the apple does not allow this. Thus, your application will be rejected. If you do this for personal use, you can use apis as an IOSurface. Hope my answer helps you.

Just hold the power button and the home button at the same time, and you can see the captured screen inside your photo album.
