On a Mac, the idea.log file is contained in

 /Users/<user>/Library/Logs/AndroidStudio/idea.log

The new stable version (1.2) is in

 /Users/<user>/Library/Logs/AndroidStudio1.2/

The new stable version (2.2) is in

 /Users/<user>/Library/Logs/AndroidStudio2.2/

The new stable version (3.4) is in

 /Users/<user>/Library/Logs/AndroidStudio3.4/

You can open the Messages or Event Log window to see your log. In addition to this, if you want to view the device log, you can open the Logcat tool window to view your log: View> Tool Windows> Logcat enter image description here

In ubuntu it should be under

/ home / user_name / product_name / system / log

where username is registered in the username and product_name can be, for example, .AndroidStudio1.5

In Windows version

you can find the log at the bottom of the IDE, click "Gradle Console" and then select "Android Monitor". You will see a Droplistbox control that shows the value "Verbose" as the default value.

If you use log.v() . The detailed option is in order. if you use log.d() just change it to Debug.

So, when you start your emulator, you can catch your log from this window.
