How to reassign the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Click "Go To Definition" in Power Tools (or, possibly, ReSharper)

I like the Power Tools extension for the visual studio, but it added the Ctrl + Click functionality. "Go To Definition" is cool and all, but my workflow forces me to use the functionality when I do not want it.

When I want to copy something, I start to label the text, still holding the mouse button, holding Ctrl + C , and then release the mouse button. The tool confirms this as a click on the Go to Definition definition, and I usually end up with a String definition or something else. I know that I can just release the Ctrl button before clicking the mouse button; nonetheless, it is difficult for me to rebuild myself from the habit that I have had since then forever.

Is there a way to reassign the functionality of Ctrl + Click Go To Definition, say, to Ctrl + Shift + Press? I know that I can deactivate it by going to Tools> Options> Performance Power Tools> All Extensions; however, I do not want to lose functionality, I just make it work the way I want it.

Try switching to ReSharper | Options -> Environment | Search & Navigation ReSharper | Options -> Environment | Search & Navigation ReSharper | Options -> Environment | Search & Navigation and disable Go to declaration on <Control + Left click> in editor .

I do not have ReSharper. But I was able to disable this in Visual Studio 2012. I found it in Tools - Options - Powerivity Tools - Ctrl + Click Go To Definition.

Try the Tools β†’ Functions β†’ Power Tools menu (menu on the left) β†’ Disable it where it says Ctrl + Click "Go to Definition" on the right.
