PDF library for Android - PDFBox?

What libraries are there for drawing PDF files on Android?

I found the PDFBox, that is, the JSE library, and I want to know how somehow it can be used to draw PDF files on Android.

I know that Android converts standard bytecodes to Dalvik Bytecodes, but how does it convert classes like BufferedImage that can convert PDF files to?

Any suggestion is useful, even for paid libraries.

Reading / writing PDF is a big problem for Android. A quick search on Stackoverflow will reveal many developers looking for solutions. By far, the most popular solution is to use web browsing and use the Google document engine to render PDFs.

The second solution, which is slightly less “hacked,” is to use one of these Android libraries for Android

If you are an indie developer, you can try PlugPDF. They provide a free Android PDF library for independent developers and for personal use for free. http://plugpdf.com/

Disclaimer: I am the founder and CEO of ePapyrus Inc., which runs plugpdf.com.

RadaePDF also offers an Android PDF rendering engine.

http://mupdf.com/ has released an Android library for reading and writing in PDF format, this is really very good.

This is an open source GPL project, but it has commercial licenses.

There is a relative new library http://www.androidpdf.mobi/ . It has a one-time license for the name of the Android package and works fine for us, especially for the price.

It's a little expensive, but I think the Adobe Mobile SDK is your product (albeit not open source)
