Xcode 5 - "No application entries" when trying to check archive

Hi People: Just a person (not a company) trying to send an application developed with Xcode 5 to the App Store.

Developer.apple.com> IOS Dev Center> iTunes Connect> Application Manager> Add New Applications> Click here to register a new package> Click on the AppID to find out what I previously registered.

If I had 10 reps on Stackoverflow, I would post a screenshot. (I will do if I can).
The summary is that iTunes Connect says:

  • Prefix: C58H638D3X
  • ID - EdAndJ.tiltr9999
  • Id = C58H638D3X.EdAndJ.tiltr9999

So, I return to Xcode5, and I change the Bundle ID to: I tried both:

  • C58H638D3X.EdAndJ.tiltr9999 and
  • EdAndJ.tiltr9999

Then I manually deleted the assembly directory and rebuilt and archived again. No errors or warnings. The archive shows the correct "Identifier". But when I check, I get "No application entries."

I read in one article that this may be due to the fact that iTunes Connect is not in the “waiting for my application” state ... but I do not know how to put it in this state (if this problem is in the first place).

This is a duplicate of the question I posed today today, but now that I know more, I again submitted it with additional information. Thanks to all those who respond ... you make the world a better place :).

As you mentioned and according to the documentation - Application Distribution Guide

Important: you cannot check your application if the application recording in iTunes Connect is not in the "Waiting for Download" or later version

After adding a new application to iTunes connect, an amber light will appear along with its status. Most likely, he will read "Preparing for Download . " To get to the "Waiting for download" state, click the "Show details" button for the application, and in the upper right corner there should be a blue button that says "Ready to download binary files" , Click this button and follow the directions.

Go to the itunes connection. Click on your app. Click "Advanced." Click About This App. Select a package identifier. Now go back and check the application again. That should be good.

Just the same problem. When in iTunes Connect select your application, click "Edit Information", and at the bottom of the page it has a button (ready to download a binary file), click on it, follow the process, and then Xcode will find the waiting application

I had the same issue when I was updating my old app in iTunes Connect. I decided that by posting some work, I went through some posts on the Internet. We have one application in a real store with one package identifier (com.sample.AppOne). We need to update the application to the next version.

Then I gave the package identifier as (com.sample.AppNine), which does not match the package in iTunes Connect earlier. Therefore, when updating the application in iTunes Connect, we must provide the same package identifier that we gave for the old version. This solved my problem.

In accordance with Apple’s new deployment structure, go to itunesconnect> My Applications> Select Application> select Options from the menu bar> Go to Encryption in the menu on the left.

Select the appropriate option, here you will instruct you to specify one option in info.plist according to your choice.

Just follow these steps and you are good to go.
