Just updated my OS X to Yosemite, Android Device Chooser not showing the device - what should I do?

After upgrading to OS X Yosemite, I found that eclipse was not working because JAVA was not installed correctly. I installed it and now I can open eclipse.

When I connect my device, I can see my device in the list of devices in eclipse. However, when I run my project, I cannot see it on my Android device. My device is detected by Eclipse, but I cannot select it to run.

This worked great on my previous OS X Mavericks! Please, help!

thank

This seems to be a layout error.

Drag one of the column headers to the device selection where the device should be, and change the column width, and this magic will appear!

Workaround for bug in Android Device Chooser

You can also double-click the row of the device, even if it is hidden, so you do not need to resize the column each time.

Another working solution:

Disconnect and reconnect the device when the Android device selection popup window is open.

If you have more than one device connected, click the down arrow on your keyboard to open the hidden device. Then press "OK" or press "Enter", as usual. Otherwise, just press Enter. The device already exists, just not visible.

A similar problem after upgrading to Yosemite, but with a BlackBerry 10 device with Android build from Eclipse.

Decision:
Launch the application and wait for the Android device to pop up. My dialog box shows an empty list. While the dialog box is displayed, disconnect and reconnect the device through the BlackBerry adb proxy server. After that, the BlackBerry device automatically appeared in the dialog box, and I was able to select it and successfully start the assembly.

What worked for me was to tick to / from the USB debugging mode in the device settings, but the solution in the selected answer is better ...

It seems that the Eclipse UI update issue has been updated for Yosemite. I notice that the text of my logcat filter is completely poor, as soon as it loses focus - it looks like you do not have a filter. Gross
