How to show Project Explorer window in Eclipse

Suddenly, my project explorer window disappeared from Eclipse. I'm trying to select Windows> Show View> Project Explorer, but nothing happens. What can I do?

Open Eclipse IDE E Type " Project Explorer " in the Quick Access section (search text box). Either select from the drop-down list or press Enter

If you are in the Eclipse or Spring toolkit, follow these steps.

(1) Go to the “Window” at the top of the editor. Click on her
(2) Select a show. You should see the option "Project Explorer". Click on it. You have to do it.

Using the latest Luna update. The only solution that worked was Window -> New Window. It is very easy to lose this critical bar.

I ran into the same problem. The following solution helped me overcome this:

Window → Show View → Package Explorer.

You can also use a shortcut. This is Alt + Shift + Q, P

If none of the above solutions work, try window-> New Window

I also ran into this problem. This solution worked for me ....

windows-> navigation-> increase the active view or editor (ctrl + M), on the screen you can see in the navigation menu on the left ... now click on these buttons one by one .... you will get your decision ...

Try changing the perspective to JavaEE and then check.

I’m not sure if this is a problem, but it recalled me a little, because I didn’t understand what was happening at first - maybe it would help others.

This is not a problem how Eclipse works. (I use Visual Studio) All About Perspectives!

I created a (existing) PHP project in eclipse (neon) and then tried to configure and run debug. The “Confirm Perspective Switch” popup appears - I selected “Yes”, not understanding what it actually does. Then the “perspective” changes and you no longer see the project explorer anywhere. You cannot "open" the window of the project explorer at the top of the window> window> show the view, since it is no longer there (this is a BS, it should show something that gives you an indication of current and other "prospects" - at least for beginners.) No, where now he gives the opportunity to choose a project.

Now you have to change the “point of view” back from debugging to PHP (at least in my case).

This can be done in several ways, most easily with the icon on the right to the right. One icon will be a “bug” and next to it will be a PHP icon. Just click on the perspective icon you want. Another way is from the top navigation bar> window> Vista> open Vista, then select PHP. Can they hide it deeper?

I know that this is most likely the second nature for those who used the eclipse for some time, but disappointed me (on the first day) until they realized what was happening.
