Oh My Zsh - Disable the "Do you want to check for updates" invitation

Every time I open a terminal on a Mac, I get an invitation

Want to check for updates?

I find it pretty annoying. Anyway, to stop this?

You need to add DISABLE_AUTO_UPDATE="true" on .zshrc to the line source $ZSH/oh-my-zsh.sh . This way oh-my-zsh will just skip the script update check.

Set the environment variable DISABLE_UPDATE_PROMPT=true to always answer Yes and automatically update.

Set the environment variable DISABLE_AUTO_UPDATE=true to always answer No and never update.

Just add one of them to your ~/.zshrc somewhere before calling source $ZSH/oh-my-zsh.sh .
