How to enable PHP support in Netbeans?

On Ubuntu, I am installing netbeans, but it does not have the ability to run a php project. I looked at the list of plugins, and php is not included in the list, and also not in the plugins for downloading the list.

I went to the netbeans website and I'm not sure which php plugin to download.

Can someone please help me with this?

Ubuntu 12.04 64bit has netbeans 7.0.1 in the software repository.

Go to Tools->Plugins .

On the Settings tab, verify that Netbeans Distribution Update is active.

Then on the Available Plugins tab, click Reload Catalog and you will see PHP.

You also need to create a LAMP configuration, this link may help you.

If you have already downloaded the full bundle, go to the Installed tab and activate PHP.

There are many PHP packages in the plugins, can anyone write here which packages should be installed to run Netbeans with PHP instead of installing the entire IDE from scratch.

Go to Tools> Plugins> Available Plugins

find PHP features.

But first of all, you should download a version of netBeans that supports PHP.

There are 2 distributions available, one for PHP and Javescript, the other a fully-fledged version that supports many programming languages, PHP, of course, is included.

any of them for distributions should work on PHP.
