What does yellow tint mean when using “color inconsistent images” on iPhone / iOS

therefore - I have included “color inconsistent images” to improve drawing performance in our application. The documentation states:

Overlay magenta on images whose original pixels do not match the destination pixels

I do not know what yellow means. (There is a “Color Screen-Rendering” option that uses yellow ... "Does it also include color images?")

Somebody knows?

TIA

Magenta overlays are caused by subpixel misalignment, and yellow overlays are caused by stretching. Prior to iOS 4, tools used magenta for both.
