Visual Studio IDE - Return to Previous

In VS2008, is there a way to return to the previous cursor position after pressing F12 to go to the definition of the function? I know this is possible with some additions, but if there is a way to get the main product to do this?

Ctrl + - should do the trick, which is the standard keyboard shortcut for moving backward. Or using the navigation buttons on the standard toolbar.

Edit: To change the keyboard shortcut, go to Tools> Options> Environment> Keyboard and change the shortcut for View.NavigateBackward.

There is a command that does exactly what you ask: View.PopBrowseContext . It always returns you to the place where you pressed F12. It does not take into account any changes or changes that you made after you pressed F12.

By default, in C # layout, it is displayed on Ctrl+Chift+8 , but you can assign it to any hotkey.

By the way, in VS2015 they decided to get rid of this team.
