I recently highlighted a zookeeper cluster, and as part of the configuration change we installed

leaderServes=no 

to increase throughput. This works fine, except for one problem: the leader no longer responds to (most) four-word words, responding to any request with a message

 This ZooKeeper instance is not currently serving requests 

I believe that this is a dear leader, you are no longer doing black work, but ... can monitoring software still get your status and indicators?

I really hope that there will work, and not "use JMX." Any help is much appreciated!
