When adding more rows in a table to the jaspersoft subhead in print, the success of the first page and the other is empty, why?

I have a main report, this main report contains two subheadings,

The first subheading contains two tables when the first table has a lot of data and it successfully prints the first page, but the other pages are empty.

The expected output is to keep showing the rows of the first table until it goes to the second table, if there is not a lot of data that it works correctly

Calculations should rarely be placed in the Details strip, although sometimes there are good reasons for this.

The reason for this is that sub-reports will be played once for each row of data returned by your main query, for example. if you have 1 line, you will get 1 copy of each report, if you have 100 lines, you will get 100 from each separate report. If your subheadings also have 100 lines, you return 10k lines for each sub-report and most likely you will get an error with an out-of-memory error.

Try moving your sub-reports to the header / footer range or to the summary range, and then run the report.

As @philipobrien mentioned above, placing a sub-report in the Details group is usually not true if you do not intentionally want a new report per row to be returned by your data source.

I would recommend using the GroupFooter section, which allows you to use multiple ranges. These bars are filled in the order in which they appear in JRXML.

The following example shows how you can use a GroupFooter two-lane partition. As far as I remember, GroupFooter groups automatically increase their height, so there is no need to specifically set the height, unless, of course, you want a minimum height.

Note that I removed the GroupHeader section from the example below. In this case, this section was not necessary. Also note the dummy expression used to ensure that groups are displayed.
