I'm really not a Delphi person, really. The last time I saw that the software was more than 10 years ago in the good times of Borland, and not for long. That's why this research is difficult for me.
As far as I know, Castalia was a plugin for the Delphi IDE, which added many features, such as: code refactoring, code metrics, syntax highlighting, navigation system and much more. The plugin was proprietary, but the part responsible for the actual analysis of the Delphi code is publicly available ( https://github.com/jacobthurman/Castalia-Delphi-Parser ). And that’s all I know, really.
The plugin had its own website at http://www.twodesk.com/castalia/ , which is now almost dead. The latest version of the page with any information was recorded on January 21, 2015 and is available here . There is no clue as to why the product ceases to exist, all authors say that it is “unavailable at the moment”, whatever that means.
I heard rumors that Castile is now a legitimate part of the Delphi development environment, but I just can't prove it. It's true? And if so, which version of Delphi was first integrated with Castalia? Has Embarcadero released Castile?
Anything in this regard is much appreciated. Especially links to reliable sources of information. Greetings
