Use AWS API with Python to use Polly Services

Since I am unable to integrate boto3 into the Google App Engine, I am trying to use the API directly using documents: since Polly (the text-to-speech API) uses the Signature Version 4 process, I refer to:

How can I debug this? I suspect this is not a secret key problem, as they work when in boto3
