Here is the pom file:

application.yml :

 server: port: 8761 spring: application: name: eureka-server1 eureka: client: enabled: false fetch-registry: false

My Spring boot application class :

 import org.springframework.boot.SpringApplication; import org.springframework.boot.autoconfigure.SpringBootApplication; import org.springframework.cloud.netflix.eureka.server.EnableEurekaServer; @SpringBootApplication @EnableEurekaServer public class EurekaServerApplication { public static void main(String[] args) { SpringApplication.run(EurekaServerApplication.class, args); } }

This is my environment:

  • MacOS Sierra 10.12.1
  • Spring Tool Suite - Version: 3.8.2.RELEASE (Build Code: 201610040743 - Platform: Eclipse Neon.1 (4.6.1))

Did I miss something?

Thanks in advance

Remove eureka.client.enabled=false from the configuration. Then it will start the server
